The Hawaiian Airlines® Visa® Platinum Credit Card, issued by FIA Card Services, N.A., is designed for those with a very good credit history who travel frequently via Hawaiian Airlines®.
Through the airline reward program, one mile is earned for every dollar spent on the card for gene ral purchases and two miles are earned for every dollar spent for tickets purchased directly from Hawaiian Airlines®. Miles can be redeemed towards free travel on Hawaiian Airlines®. Cardholders receive 10,000 bonus miles with the first purchase and payment as well as an additional reward of 2,000 points annually upon card renewal. There is a limit of 100,000 miles that can be earned per year.
The interest rate for purchases and balance transfers is reasonable for a reward card, although not ideal for those who plan to carry a balance. A low introductory rate applies to purchases, balance transfers, and cash advance checks for the first six billing cycles, and the annual fee is slightly lower than most platinum airline reward cards.
Aside from the reward program, cardhol_ders can expect common benefits such as auto rental insurance, various travel and emergency assistance services, and online banking services. In addition, cardhol_ders receive a 50% discounted companion ticket with the purchase of a regular full-coach fare ticket plus applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges.
