The US Airways® Visa Signature® Credit Card, issued by FIA Card Services, N.A., is designed for those with excellent credit who travel frequently via US Airways.
Through the airline reward program, cardhol_ders earn one mile per dollar spent on gene ral purchases and double miles per dollar spent on purchases made directly from US Airways. Plus, cardhol_ders can earn up to eleven miles per dollar spent at select restaurants in the U.S. After the first purchase is made, an additional 25,000 bonus miles will be applied to the account. Miles can be redeemed towards free travel on US Airways.
The interest rate for purchases and balance transfers is above average for a reward card and not ideal for those who plan to carry a balance. There is a low introductory rate that applies to purchases, balance transfers, and cash advance checks for the first six billing cycles, but the annual fee is slightly above average for an airline reward card.
In addition to the reward program, cardhol_ders can expect common benefits such as auto rental insurance, purchase protection services, and various travel and emergency assistance services. Cardholders also receive annual $99 companion tickets, offers for discounted mileage awards, a complimentary US Airways Club® pass, and access to the Preferred Travel Program.
Therefore, those who frequently fly with US Airways, plan to pay in full each month (to avoid finance charges), and will be able to redeem a free ticket within a two-year period (due to it's annual fee of $90) will benefit most from what the US Airways® Visa Signature® Credit Card has to offer.
