Cherokee county parents rose up and forced the ousting of Cecilia Lewis who was hired as their brand new “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer” (I.e. crt indoctrination officer). She resigned before she even started. Read the article link. Then lo and behold, it seems she has landed a job at Cobb county school district! Parents… what say you? Start calling and emailing the board and show up at the next board meeting. Hardly. We know exactly what we’ve done. We’ve stood up to bullies who want to come in and tell us how horrible we are because we don’t force our kids to chant “I am a racist because I’m white” or “I’m a victim because I’m latino”. We know what we’ve done. We prayed about this and God answered our prayers. You call it petty fear and cowardness (that isn’t a word – try cowardice next time). We call it standing up to a progressive agenda that aims to segregate people based on race and XY chromosome content. We’re not having it. Sorry if your friend got her feelings hurt. Find a more useful use of your time.

Thank God for changing your heart. We are a VERY diverse school system and community. We already have people who build handicap ramps and we have people who change the language to promote agendas. We don’t need more of this. And we definitely don’t need anyone from Maryland coming here to change our education system. I have two children educated in Maryland from K-12 in Howard County and no thanks. There is a reason I left Maryland – to leave behind people who think that white people need to be educated on how to be humane.
DEI is another branch of the racist thinking that progressives are trying to spread around the country. I have an autistic Asian stepdaughter (or stepdaughter with autism and Asian DNA, because that simple turn of phrase doesn’t “other” her) and the white teachers at CCSD were great with her – better than I ever expected. They loved her and supported her. We don’t need anyone to come in and lecture us on how to be inclusive. We don’t need anyone to come in and show us how to be good to each other. Stay in Maryland. Your work will be more appreciated there by all the fragile white people who are actually racist and you get the added bonus of being able to relate this horrific chapter of your life where you came and brought love and peace to the restless savages and were turned away. You get to play the victim again. Hooray for you. Seems like everyone’s prayers were answered. God is good.
