This decision impacts not only students but the broader community. I hope the transition support for students is robust, as they navigate their future educational paths. Thank you for keeping us informed about this significant development.

Comment on Wilbanks out as Gwinnett County Superintendent on June 30 by ANN HENRY /wilbanks-out-as-gwinnett-county-superintendent/#comment-3429 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 16:57:46 +0000 /?p=993#comment-3429 Years ago, during the community dispute about replacing Dr. Wilbanks, I met a very wonderful lady who had worked under Dr. Wilbanks. We talked at length and she expressed herself as someone who was not being ‘HEARD’. I advised her to apply for the position. She said that she would not qualify. For the next four years I’ve watched as one of the best school systems in Georgia has declined. Maybe someone on the board (or all) could contact Dr. Wilbanks’ former assistant.
Sorry, we did not exchange data. But she get’s a vote from me.

Comment on Tolton Pace sworn in as District 6 Seat for 麻豆影院 Board of Education by Will Skar /tolton-pace-sworn-in-as-district-6-seat-for-atlanta-board-of-education/#comment-3427 Thu, 13 Nov 2025 07:49:26 +0000 /?p=7380#comment-3427 Tolton, I believe you got cheated out of a million dollars. “She discovered the elements polonium and radium in 1898, and she developed techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes” You said radium which is half right and could been allowed if all you need was one answer. Because they said she discovered uranium. The discovery of uranium in the mineral pitchblende is credited to Martin Heinrich Klaproth. So they were wrong! You are smarter than a Fifth Grader!

Comment on 麻豆影院 Public Schools approves tax increase by Charlie Thomas /atlanta-public-schools-approves-tax-increase/#comment-2763 Fri, 09 May 2025 14:06:28 +0000 /?p=5804#comment-2763 Thank you for this detailed overview of the 麻豆影院 Public Schools’ decision to maintain the millage rate at 20.5, resulting in a 9.14% tax increase due to rising property values. The article effectively highlights the challenges faced by legacy residents amid these changes.

I have a couple of questions:

Support for Vulnerable Populations: Given the concerns about the impact on elderly homeowners and legacy residents, are there any specific programs or exemptions being considered to alleviate their tax burden?

Budget Allocation Transparency: With the increased revenue from property taxes, how does the district plan to allocate these funds to ensure they directly benefit students and address educational disparities?

Understanding these aspects would provide valuable insights into how the district balances fiscal responsibilities with community support.

Looking forward to your insights on these matters.
