The Volkswagen Platinum Visa® Card with Rewards, issued by First USA, is designed for those with very good credit who plan to take advantage of the rewardS program.

Through the rewardS program, cardhol_ders earn two points for every dollar spent on purchases at participating Volkswagen dealers or at Volkswagen DriverGear, and they earn one point for every dollar spent on all other purchases. Points are redeemable for checks that can be used at participating Volkswagen dealerships or as payment toward an automobile loan with Volkswagen Credit. Points are also redeemable for travel, gift certificates, and various merchandise. There is no maximum amount of points that can be accumulated per year; however, points will expire in five years.

The interest rate for purchases and balance transfers is reasonable for a reward card, and there is no annual fee. In addition, there is a 0% introductory offer that applies to purchases and balance transfers for the first six billing cycles.

In addition to the rewardS program, the card offers a variety of platinum cardhol_der benefits, such as up to $500,000 in travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, and extended warranties for purchases.
