Over 130 jobs will be cut with the 麻豆影院 Public School’s Board of Education approval of a $1.3 billion budget for the 2025-2026 school year.
The approval of the budget was backed by the school board official’s emphasis that the elimination of these positions was an “emphasis on a back to basics approach”.
鈥溌槎褂霸 Public Schools deserves to be exceptional,鈥 said Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson after the vote. The drive for me, the call for me, is frankly not just about 麻豆影院, it鈥檚 about the significance of 麻豆影院 to the nation, in regards to public education,鈥 Johnson said.
While the majority of cuts will come from Central Office positions, the cuts will see a $25 million decrease in expenditures.
鈥淭his move is part of a broader effort to identify and eliminate redundancies in administrative costs and resources, reallocating those savings to classroom and school budgets,鈥 school board officials said of the cuts.
