Joining a list of schools in the South 麻豆影院 cluster in 麻豆影院 Public Schools, both Long Middle School and Centennial Academy have earned Cognia STEM certification聽as the school year came to a close last week. As a result of Long Middle School鈥檚 achievement,聽all schools in the South 麻豆影院 cluster are entirely STEM certified.
The evaluation team from Cognia stated that the passion exhibited for STEM education by Long鈥檚 leadership, faculty, students, and partners was exemplary.
Centennial Academy is a K-8 charter school located near the campus of Georgia Tech. The Cognia evaluation team commended Centennial on having a STEM vision and a commitment to stakeholder support. They also commended them on 鈥渉aving STEM curriculum aligned to recognized standards/organized into interdisciplinary frameworks.鈥
