Two of 麻豆影院鈥檚 top high schools, Pebblebrook High School 鈥 the Mighty Marching Machine and Westlake High School 鈥 the Mighty Marching Lions, will perform at the HBCU Battle of the Bands at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on February 4, 2023.

Showcasing more than 35,000 student musicians over the last 17 years, HBCU All-Star Battle of the Bands will feature talented performers from Alabama State University 鈥 the Mighty Marching Hornets, North Carolina A&T 鈥 the Blue and Gold Marching Machine, Bethune-Cookman University 鈥 the Marching Wildcats, South Carolina State University 鈥 the Marching 101, Norfolk State University 鈥 the Spartan Legion Band and Tennessee State University 鈥 the Aristocrat of Bands.

鈥淭he battle is back, and I can鈥檛 wait to watch this group of talented students at the world鈥檚 largest showcase of HBCU marching bands,鈥 said Lindsey B. Sarjeant, Music Department Chairman and Chief Music Arranger for Florida A&M University鈥檚 marching band, the Incomparable Marching 100, Chairman of the HBCU All-Star Battle of the Bands and Music Department Chairman and Director of Jazz Studies at Florida A&M University. 鈥淭his is the 18th year I鈥檝e worked with this legacy event alongside its founder and producer, and I know the opportunity for HBCUs to come together will provide students with memories to last a lifetime.鈥

In addition to the performance, there will be an HBCU college fair at the College Football Hall of Fame, with over 45 HBCUs from around the country.
